The Claire Quilty Orchestra's, 'Bedtime Stories for Good Little Girls' is a love album of the most frenetic kind. N8/dj baby judy/Farilla/Professor Daddio/Stefan Renoir/Doris Afinkasaurus/Nano (I'm sure I've barely skimmed the surface here) worked on this for a chunk of time with an intensity that I've only known to be his. Those around at this time would come across him at all different places along the shaping of this work. Highs and lows. Plans and cuts. There were so many times he would ask you to listen to a 10 second bit or a whole track over and over to examine something no one else could hear and within the next instant he had the inscrutable mystery solved.

There are endless folks that helped with the structure of this project. Thank you to all of those I miss and the hundreds of sample bits that will never be credited. Thank you Brotherman for your huge brain and finally cracking the whip to make this happen. Thanks Bobo for EVERY SINGLE THING. Jen 'The Voice' for your mad-siren of a wail and your eternal abilities. Sharin’ Beatz for listening/spinning/listening/spinning. Altronix for mixing the stupid out of everything you do. Peep for rousing everything into a song. I’ll credit myself with mixing a damn fine Wenis.

It breaks my heart to know that N8 will never see the splendor of his completed work. Then again, what do I know? We are putting this up and out so that everyone may experience his beauty. Wenis Recipe
(Note; this came up on a hot day when we wanted a frosty beverage but had neither the motivation nor the money to do much about it. It is a motley assortment of whatever you have to work with. There is a lot of room for trial and error here.)

2 cups sorbet/ice cream/popsicle/etc.
Ice or frozen fruit (as needed)
Half cup Dimetapp (essential)
Alcohol (volume and type, your choice)

Blend. Consume Responsibly.

I'm honored to have been the person chosen to finally mix down and master The Claire Quilty Orchestra record. N8 asked me to do it awhile back and we were in the process, but needless to say, things went awry.

I love N8 very deeply. He is closer than family in some ways. I was able to interface with him creatively in a way that I have never experienced with anyone else. He is a brilliant artist. I speak in present tense because his art continues to inspire me and will continue for the rest of my life, I'm sure. It is digitally eternal. I have written tens of thousands of lines of code to his mixes. The amount that this project means to me is not an easy thing to articulate. I mostly just feel grateful for having been touched by it, and for being able to be one of the people to help finally bring it to you.

We have decided to put all of his audio work online, free for download. If any of you have old mixes that N8 made for you that have never been released, please contact me. I would like to get digital copies. If you can't do this, you can come over to my workstation, and I can rip it from whatever format you have it in.

I will never get over him being now "unavailable". Never ever. I would like this site to be an archive of his mad genius, his love, and his high quality bedside manner. Doctor, I salute you.
